RE: Guild perfumers featured in series on Fall & Winter scents

Although they mention that Indie perfumers do not necessarily use only

natural ingredients, they don't mention that mass marketed commercial

fragrance seldom does! The " rivers of perfume " they refer to are more like

rivers of chemicals. Somehow the fact that the origin of " perfume " is

entirely from nature has been lost upon the masses. I think I'll go dab some

3-methyl-5-(2,2,3-trimethylcyclopent-3-en-1-yl)-pentane-3-ol and of

6-(2,2,3-trimethylcyclopent-3-en-1-yl)-hexan-3-ol on myself. Not!
