Guest guest Posted September 14, 2006 Report Share Posted September 14, 2006 Hi, I know I lurk more than post, but I really need some help. I am on the second week of my second challenge. The first time, I had good success, lost 18lbs and about 4% body fat. But I still have a long way to go. My problem is that I have almost no motivation lately. Especially when it comes to working out. I can't use the excuse I don't have time, because I do. I just can't seem to get moving. Part of the reason is purely physical. I have been exhausted lately, sleeping 10-12 hours a day. I can't seem to get out of bed most days. I have gone to the doctor about it and am currently getting blood work done to screen for thyroid problems or other issues. I'm not having any depression or anything, and my lifestyle in general is pretty healthy, so I think it has to be something physically wrong. But beyond that, I just have a really hard time keeping focused. And my food is, well, it could be better. So, what does everyone do to keep themselves motivated?? What gets you out of bed early so you can get your workouts in? And really, how do you keep your free day from turning into a free weekend (like all of mine seem to do??)
