,

I'm no expert, but I'm not sure that lauricidin would be your best

bet here. It sounds like you want stuff that is antibacterial like

OoO and OLE. Maybe even GSE. You could even dilutes some of this

stuff and possibly use it topically as well??? Perhaps others can

comment more knowledgeably on that.

The OoO you have is liquid? I hide it in tiny capsules that my son

can swallow in yogurt. It tastes horrible and is very strong. I

tested it when I first bought it by squirting maybe 10 drops directly

at the back of my sore throat and immediately vomitted. Powerful

stuff though as my sore throat and the " things " growing there were

gone very shortly after that.

Best of luck,

Anita

Hi Anita,

Read your post and went to cupboard, tried the OoO.... OMG! this stuff

is strong. It should clear my phlegm as well! I'll try it in capsule

for Norman but do you think it best to mix it with Olive oil?

I've got some GSE (liquid) which is another one, hard to disguise but as

I will be going out for some OLE, maybe buy some GSE in capsule (I

think I've seen this). Don't worry, just equipping myself, I won't be

giving them all at once.

Appreciate your suggestions, thank you. :)

Hi ,

LOL! Why is it that ASD parents always have to try things to see how

bad they are, not matter what anyone has already told them? I think

we're masochists ;-) I did this myself with Lauricidin. Anne warned

people not to chew it, but I thought, " how bad can it be? " I spent

the rest of the day trying to get the taste out of my tongue, even

wiping it with a towel. It was horrid!

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Do you mean inside the

capsule? I use it just straight for everyone in the family. Just

remember to avoid getting any on the outside of the capsule, cause

then you're done for.

I'm pretty sure there is some sort of agreement among parents that

the liquid GSE works better. It is what I use, just putting it in

the capsule if I want to use more than a drop or two. I save my

smallest capsules (from selenium, moly, etc) to use for these sorts

of things.

My pleasure :-) I hope you have success. I did think of something

else in the meantime. Sally Fallon recommends an ointment for fungal

infections and rashes made from coconut oil and tea tree oil. I'm

not sure I'd use it long term for a boy because of the concerns

regarding tea tree oil, but I thought I'd share: 1/2 cup unrefined

coconut oil and 1/2 tsp tea tree oil. Melt together on low heat and

place in a glass jar.
