Guest guest
I am technically on my 8th week of my first challenge, but the last 2 weeks have been really bad. I ended up having a few free days in a row, because out of town, and friends in town, etc. So I feel like I have messed it all up, especially since you are to see the bigger results starting now. I am just wondering if I should start from the beginning or add a few weeks to this challenge, or what? I am going to keep going no matter what, I just really want to see results, and I screwed up! If anyone has any ideas, let me know. Thanks,
Guest guest
Pretend it didn't happen and finish strong. There's no such thing as a perfect challenge. Life will always be messy and there will always be obstacles and setbacks. If you start over every time there's a mishap, you're just reinforcing the idea that you're weak and a failure and can't keep your promises to yourself. Every time you start over you'll get more discouraged. Look at it like this - if you get the flu, sprain your ankle, miss weeks of workouts, cheat every other day, and STILL FINISH, then you've accomplished something. You can be proud of yourself and proud of your challenge because you didn't quit. But if you keep starting over and over again, it just teaches you that you're not to be trusted. In my first challenge I missed two weeks of workouts between week 8 and 10 and still had great results. I say pull it together and carry on. :-) > > I am technically on my 8th week of my first challenge, but the last 2 > weeks have been really bad. Guest guest
Keep going, keep going. These two weeks can be a blip in your overall challenge. Just jump right in and get back to it. Progress, not perfection. Best Regards, beth Setback/question I am technically on my 8th week of my first challenge, but the last 2 weeks have been really bad.
