Wine preservation spray to prevent oil oxidation?

I have an inert gas spray for extending the life of wine, where you spray the

gasses into the bottle, and it displaces the oxygen. It makes the wine last

maybe a week. Does anyone know, would this work to extend the life of essential

oils? Or would it just extend the life by a few days, making it kind of a waste

of time?
