Guest guest
Hi Vicky As you say, it normally takes 2 weeks to get notification of a decision. SENDIST do qualify this though by saying they 'will try' to send you the decision within 2 weeks. You could try ringing your SENDIST Clerk, explaining, asking if s/he can shed any light on it and if not, ask who you need to write to for an explanation of why it is taking so long to get a decision....the Chair of your panel perhaps? Maybe it will make a difference if you write to the Chair personally? Am wondering if there is a regulatory body for SENDIST that you could take it up with if this doesnt get you an answer? Try asking on www.vips-in-sen.co.uk someone there might be able to help. Guest guest
What does it say in the guidelines? Why is the president (who he?) involved? He didn't hear your case. Why is he part of the adjudication process? xx Sally veronicamadigan wrote: > > We will be waiting for a decision five weeks this week! > Has anyone else waited this long? > Have spoken to them twice, they said the president was now involved, > they have emailed the chair twice, he promised a decision 2 weeks ago > but no explanantion as to why it took so long and why it still isn't in. > This was a DD which normally take 2-3 weeks max. > Wondering what is it with me and the tribunal system? > TIA > Vicky > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > No virus found in this incoming message. > Checked by AVG Free Edition. > Version: 7.5.463 / Virus Database: 269.5.6/770 - Release Date: 20/04/2007 18:43 >

Guest guest
There's probably something complicated to do with a point of law or procedure or their powers which is taking time to sort out - that's my guess any way. Guest guest
Delay would be a good indication. You could write a reminder letter to tribunal chair. Complaining would be to SENDIST president Lady . Guest guest
Neither side is allowed to negotiate with the Tribunal behind the scenes. Margaret
