If you go into Powerpoint or something and go to Insert Clip Art and then type in as your searchword Animals. You will then get lots of images coming up. Its very easy. It will insert into a slide drag the corners out to the required size and hey presto... Very ink thirsty mind you.

There are some good *body part* cards on www.mandimart.com "free stuff" link. They are intended for pecs but we used them as teaching pictures in our program. The body parts are particularly useful and most importantly, they are FREE!

On Thursday evening I was told I needed to make flash cards by Monday for Henry.Does anyone have, or could they direct me to sources of, suitable images I can download today re:animals (farm, domestic, wild)furniturefoodhuman body parts.I need a range: photos, drawings, caretoons etc.I have never done any picture editing, so this is all going to be very difficult for me.Any help/suggestions would be most welcome. Oh and also, if you want to spend £42, then you could buy the Teaching Pix 2 CD Rom, it's been a godsend for us as far as these cards are concerned, there are 10,000 images on it intended for this purpose.

It won't be in time for Monday, but assuming this is an ongoing

concern, I have some beautifully laminated cards, mostly self help

sequences, as well as a cd rom with the whole gamut of images, with

an 'with or without label' option which you just print off. Always

regretted never investing in a laminator btw. If you send me your

address, I can pope ('pop' even!) them in the post.
