Guest guest
Seee! I always felt like Pamela Peeke was limiting and discouraging instead of being motivating. She's all rah-rah on the surface, but her whole underlying message is something like, " You can get in ok shape dear, just understand that your age, gender and hormones are going to really make it hard for you. In fact, forget even trying to follow the original plan. Here's a nice useless girly version for you. " It's like she's taking you down a notch before you even get started, and then she gives you a really sketchy and ineffective plan to follow. Meanwhile, Bill teaches you step-by-step how to get organized and disciplined, to keep your self-promises, to work hard, to get results, to conquer not just your weight, but life, the world. It's a big difference! And speaking of useless girly workouts, did anybody catch the Body Fusion skit on Saturday Night Live? Funny stuff! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v9TzJAbubDM Sadly, I actually remember watching shows like that. Anybody recall 20-Minute Workout with Bess Motta? OMG > > with Bill ! LOL I've been reading the original book now and it > is great! You all were right, so much better than the women's version! > He is so motivating, I can see why he's been so successful with this > program. Thanks for the pushes to get the original book - I can't wait > to see my results! Already in 2 days I've lost 1.5 pounds, just eating > clean by the book (I did miss one meal yesterday). May be water weight, > but as long as the scale is moving south, I'm happy! > > Doing my first LBWO today by the book - wish me luck. I'm pretty > terrified.
