Guest guest
Could someone please clarify for me im confused re dmsa plus ala protocol.Im not happy with one recieved from dan dr (IE once daily dose of ala tid mid cycle of dmsa) FROM my research ill follow andys protocol but im confused.. Do i give dmsa ala together at 3 hrly intervals or do i give dmsa then followed three hours later by ala. this repeated 3hrly over three days.. Many thanks for any advice im demented!!!! >>>In the Cuytler protocol you give them together every 3 hours in the day and you can strecth to 4 hourly for the night time dosing, so round the clock for 64-72 hours then stop wait as many days off as you were on and go again. Most folks do 3 on 4 off or 3 on 11 off so it fits around schol running from after school Friday to just before school on Monday. Each period of being on the chelator is called a 'round'. 1/8 - 1/4 (go for lower to start with) mg per pound of child per dose. That is child weighs 50 pounds, 5-10mg PER DOSE. |I would start with only one, preferably DMSA and see how you go. Add the ALA later when you know what the response is to the DMSA. We added ALA on round 6. Chelation is not a quick treatment, plan on a minimum of 2 years, likely more Mandi in Dorset Veteran of 112 rounds

XX > I would strongly recommend that you have the supplements Andy recommends on board first. If you don't, chelation can be awful uncomfortable and can lead to things like depression. These recommendations are in the supplement file in the FILES section (at the end of the file). Anita
