Guest guest
Don't feel too bad. Not only have I done the same thing but have had the unfortunate experience of witnessing other fitness nuts hurling their breakfast back up in the morning! Not pleasant, not pretty and definitely not worth switching gyms. Heck...next time just bring your own barf bag...then you won't have to run for the bathrooms! > > Gals! Guest guest
Or, they might think you're a bulimic who can't control her barfing anymore... Seriously, I wouldn't worry about it. Now, if you had actually puked ON the treadmill it might be another story! One time, I got home and discovered my period had started and I had a huge red stain in the crotch of my pants...I sweat so much that I didn't notice the extra dampness. I hope nobody was watching me while I was on the abductor/adductor machine. Naomi
Guest guest
Way to hit the 10's and puke for proof! I'm sure all gym rats have seen that before, I wouldn't be too worried, although they may tease you just a little. When Apple was still in their old building, I was cruisin on the treadmill, jammin to Rob Zombie, reached for my water bottle and went FLYING OFF THE BACK OF THE TREADMILL!!! I felt like such a dork, one of the trainers and another guy came over to make sure I was OK. Other than my pride, I was. The next night, one of they guys asked me if I needed them to install safety belts on the machines for me.......grrrr. Maybe you should come on over to Apple, I need a workout buddy BJ in Idaho
Guest guest
LOL! Lil, I have come really close to yakking myself after cardio. I think it's PROOF that you hit your 10. Don't quit the gym. People who actually work out hard, who witnessed the yak, know what you were going thru. And the other ones...just let them go back to reading the newspaper on their recumbent bikes. : ) Best Regards, beth C1W2D2--Warning, Kinda Gross Gals! The absolutely unthinkable happened last night. I REALLY was pushing for 10's on my cardio and I YAKKED on the treadmill... .ew! I didn't exactly do it ON the treadmill... I did my 20 mins and as I was starting my cool-down walk, I got " that feeling " and I ran to the bathroom. I only made it to the FRONT OF THE GYM -- the direction ALL the other cario equipment faces and I grabbed a waste bin and ... you know. I was sooooo embarrassed. And all the other cardio-dudes. ..I feel SO bad for them! So can anyone make me feel better about going back to that gym or do I need to switch memberships? There are 2 other gyms in town...so I can do this twice more before I am freezing in the snow and wind this December. And also...does this count as hitting a 10? <lil slaps herself in the forehead> lil

Guest guest
Been there done that! I would change the time I actually do my workouts for awhile. If you were going in the morning try after work. If it was after work - welcome to early mornings etc. Then you have little hope of seeing those people that were around you when the incident occurerd LOL Great going though hun! I think the feeling of I'm going to hurl is a 10 and you may have hit 11. Jadey 0:-) > Lil wrote: > > Gals! The absolutely unthinkable happened last night.
