I like the sound of that. Can't wait to see what it looks like! I, too, feel better and even look better (starting to look like a coca cola bottle as oppose to spongebob squarepants) but my stomach still rolls over when I sit. This is why I refuse to get on the scale because I'm willing to bet my numbers haven't changed much. And I'm still in the stupid 10! If I was at least in an 8 maybe I wouldn't feel so badly..lol. So I'm shooting for a 6 but would definitely take a 4...lol...so is it possible to pretty much go straight from a size 10 to a 6? That will be miraculous! YIKES! Thanks for the pep talk. I haven't missed a workout either...I have cheated more than I care to admit. Not an out of control cheat but not counted as clean nonetheless so I'm trying to hang tough. It helps to know that you're out there doing this thing with me. You should definitely be good to yourself..but did you have to say, " massage!?!? " ... Wishing us all miraculous transformations, kim
Guest guest
Good for you, Lil. I saw a lot of progress early on but no difference between my 4 and 6 week photos--I'm waiting for the legendary burn to incinerate this junk around my waist! They say week 5-7 can get frustrating (yes I am) but I'm just waiting for week 9, hopin' for some dramatic change. I'm off to the gym for my HIIT. I havent' missed any workouts, which means I've been to the gym 40 times in the last 7 weeks. Ha. Best Regards, beth I *FINALLY* see a difference!!!!!! Okay, started week 5 yesterday... I just thought I would share....I am seeing a difference! Is it an astronomical difference? No. But I am actually seeing it, now! I am refusing to step on the scale cuz of many things I read on this site about muscle weighing more than fat...etc. So I decided to wait until the very tippie-end to do measurements. ..and just commit to 12 weeks, no matter what. I am doing my belt up one more notch...I know, it's only one, but man, do I party EVERY MORNING when I do it! And my hubby told me yesterday my pants were looking a little baggy in the bum. Yay! So here I go into part 2 of this 3-month challenge and I am MORE ready to go. Everyone that has posted is right, the difference may not be there until like week 5 or maybe 6, but it will get there! So thanks for your encouragement and HANG IN THERE! lil
Guest guest
Hey, Kim-- I'm not giving up either but I am kind of disgusted. I've haven't lost an ounce since week 3. I look better, I'm healthier, that's what counts, right? Bleah. Even a couple of pounds would make me feel better. I did run again today and I'm up to running 14 minutes out of 20. Giant deal for me. I have a new way of determining if I hit a 10--if I turn bright red with splotchy cheeks I've done it. : ) I enjoy it in a strange sort of way--I have always detested running. I think I need to give myself a reward this week, I think I'll get a massage on Friday (my free day). We can commiserate until week 9, when we will both undergo miraculous transformations. : ) Best Regards, beth c1w7d4 Re: I *FINALLY* see a difference!!!!!! SUPER job, Lil! Guest guest
I don't post much here, but enjoy reading everyone's messages. They keep me motivated! I, like many of you, have not had a drop in the scale - maybe two pounds. But, I can tell a difference in my clothes and am almost out of a size 12! Woo hoo! Plus the way I feel has been the most rewarding. Not sure what week I'm in cause I try just to take it week by week to be honest! So far so good! > > SUPER job, Lil! Just keep working it out, honey. Guest guest
Yesssssss congratulations Lil that is awesome!!!!!!!!! I'm excited and happy for you!!! It just makes such a difference when you can see some progress. I was just wondering if you had thought about taking photos as you go along? I plan to take some myself just because I know that when I look in the mirror I will be blind to any possible fat loss, but the camera is great for picking up any subtle changes and it just gives your confidence such a boost. Again, well done!! Fantastic!! dea xx > > > > Okay, started week 5 yesterday...I just thought I would share....I > > am seeing a difference! Is it an astronomical difference? Guest guest
Heya! I just started W7...and I will say, the only photos I have the courage to take are my end photos (@ 12 weeks). Until then, I will just appreciate being able to keep my top button buttoned...and hope that within the next 6 weeks (through the holiday season) I am able to go down another size...that is my wish for Christmas. ;o) Thnx for the kudos! lil > > > > > > Okay, started week 5 yesterday...I just thought I would > share....I > > > am seeing a difference! Guest guest
Hi Lil, I would encourage you to take photos right now. Don't develop them or view them. Don't even view them. When you get to your goal....break out the " old photos " and enjoy how all your accomplishments. Those before photos will help yourself and others understand your whole story years from now You won't regret having them. If you really want to throw them away at that point. It's an option. M. Guest guest
Thnx for the input. I did take befores...but I just won't take them along the way. ;o) But I agree, they can be valuable just for a marker of " from where I have come...
