Guest guest
By any chance does anyone know how to successfully make creme fraiche soap? I saw it on a website but have no clue how to make it. Your help is greatly appreciated. Candy
Guest guest
Candy, Since Creme Fraiche is a slightly soured heavy cream not quite as thick as sour cream, I would think you could use Creme Fraiche in your soap recipe just like goat's milk or any other type of milk/cream. This is such a great idea..... I already make a variety of cream, milk, yogurt soaps, I may just give this a try too. Guest guest
Hi Diane, I am afraid I do not follow. There is a way to turn melt and pour into a creme fraiche I just have not quite figured out yet. Another crafter mentioned I could use foaming bath butter and melt and pour whipped with a mixer. I did combine the FBB and MP but it hardens after a while. When you say I can use Creme Fraiche as an additive like other milk products I don't get that part. Are you saying I need to make a creme fraiche food version first then add? Maybe I am not wording it properly. Guest guest
Candy, I'm sorry, I must have misunderstood. I didn't realize you were asking about Melt & Pour. When I read questions about soap, I just naturally think of CP or HP soap. It did give me some ideas about using a creme fraiche in my CP or HP soap recipes though. I can't help you much with MP Diane --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo! Search.
