Guest guest
I too have been using chiropractic in my treatment schedule for years now. Heck, I started over 20 years ago when I fell off a horse and dislocated my coccyx, (tailbone). I don't know what I would have done without my current practitioner. He not only adjusts my spine, but also my shoulders, elbows, wrists, knees and ankles. He is aware of the surgery I had on my ankles back in college and takes the appropriate care not to injure me. He is the one who " prescribed " PT for me so I could learn exercises to strengthen my lower back. He is incredibly " up " on new developments and has improved the quality of my life immensely. I don't remember who mentioned only using Western Medicine, but I would be in a much worse place physically if I did not try alternative practices. I have scars from where my MD tried to freeze off warts on my hands, and when they came back, along with others near my eyes, I went to a naturepath who gave me a homeopathic remedy to try. The warts were gone within two weeks, with no new scarring, and no recurrence. Also no side effects. I have also seen homeopathy work for horses and dogs. Remember, animals have no placebo effect, so that stuff really worked. I know alternative medicine is not for everyone, but it is a great thing for me!
