Guest guest
Hanger subsidiary product OK'd by FDA http://biomech.com/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=181502911 Innovative Neurotronics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hanger Orthopedic Group, announced in early February that its new electrical stimulation product had received 510(K) clearance from the Food and Drug Administration. The device, called the WalkAide System, stimulates nerves and muscles to counter a lack of ankle dorsiflexion. The company claims the device will aid a patient's gait and mobility. Hanger CEO Ivan Sabel said the system would help with the company's goal of entering the neuromuscular field.
Guest guest
Have any of you tried this? I received an invite to view the product and wondered if it would work for someone with CMT? It looks interesting to be and less cumbersome than the AFOs. Thanks! Amy
