Guest guest
Hi there... just curious, when growing wheatgrass I have run into mold problems- I have tried spritzing with hydrogen peroxide but it hasn't seemed to work. I am about to attempt it again this year and am wondering if watering it with ozonated water would be better? What about the sprouts I grow in glass jars...can I rinse them with ozonated water? my houseplants? Incidentally I use peroxide on my houseplants when I remember to water them and it always brings them back! LOL Apparently mold is a common problem with most indoor wheatgrass growers and most just cut above it and consider it acceptable. However others have suggested that perhaps the 'healing reaction' they thought was from the wheatgrass was indeed a mold reaction. As well I am thinking of buying/making a handy dandy 3 tier grower with lights... I know this was discussed a year or so ago but couldn't find it quickly... any thoughts on the best type of bulb for indoor greens?? Thanks Ontario, Canada
