Guest guest
Barbara, Here's a repost of Ankle Injury pain from Biomechanics Magazine 2006 http://www.biomech.com/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=175804037 Not sure if this is helpful or not. I wonder if his neck pain may be due to stress of having injured the ankle, or even because our nerves are all connected, could this be causing the neck pain. Has he tried putting cold packs on his neck, is he going to PT for it, or for the ankle pain? What about using any anti-inflammatory medications, or better still Arnica Gel, on both the ankle and neck. (Arnica tablets work well on injuries from the inside too) I used all this when I sprained my ankle; my PT was just right back in the pool - mostly for my ankle, I was on the rocker board. But no, I didn't have neck pain with the sprained ankle. ~ Gretchen
