What??? I have a cheaper air-driven water ozonator. Just for water. I have

it hanging right at the ceiling, as I thought the directions required. The

tube goes down to a pitcher on a low table. Do I have it set up wrong?

Dear Ken,

1) Ozone is heavier than air, so put the concentrator on a higher shelf and

the generator on a lower shelf. Having a fan in the room aimed at an open

window will prevent a buildup of ozone. The things that will be damaged by

ozone are rubber-based things like the belts in VCRs, tape decks, some

computer and CD door drives, printer take up wheels, etc. Your good stuff

should NOT be in the same room as a lot of ozone.

In the older oxygen concentrators, their compressor bushing mounts were made

of rubber. Ozone would age those, and the compressors would get noisier and

noisier. The newer oxygen concentrators have a different system. They still

have a flexible membrane, however, and it may well have some rubber in it.

So distance between them and the ozone generator is a good idea, too. We

have oxygen tubing in 15' lengths, and can get 25' and 50'. Of course, 15'

lengths can be joined together with the 5-in-1 connectors.

None of the other things you mentioned will be significantly affected.

2) 6 - 8 glasses of ozonated water per day is optimum. Two glasses at a time

before a meal will take care of the requirement. Ten minutes after drinking

it, you can eat. If you eat first, wait two hours before drinking it. It is

important to drink extra water when going through any cleansing, to help the

body do its good work.

3) I don't like the name 'nylofume'. Sounds like it is impregnated with

something. I haven't heard it before, so I am suspicious.

The bag that came with your generator is polyethylene, and has never given

us trouble. If you want more bags they are $2 a piece.

4) You can leave the generator on indefinitely to fumigate a room. Hook up

the silicone output tubing to the water bubbler, and put it in a liter of

water. Turn on the concentrator at 1/8 liter/minute, and set a fan to blow

the escaping gas around. You can do as big an area as you can blow the gas

to. An open basement is easy. An upstairs with four or five separated rooms

is harder. Since ozone sinks, set up the apparatus on an table, and blow

upward over the jar. Be careful not to set up a siphon situation. If you do

siphon water back into the tube, just shut off the generator, remove the

output tubing, and let the concentrator run, blowing oxygen through the

generator. It will dry out, and you can resume use. Try that with a corona

discharge generator!

5) The discharge from the ears is the oxidized toxins being ejected by the

body. It is a good thing, although temporarily uncomfortable. The length of

time it continues depends on the amount of stuff there is to come out, and

the number of days in between treatments. If you do it every third day, it

will continue at a low level for months. My wife struggled with it for 18

months before it finally cleared up. Most people have 3 months of

discomfort, and then the war is over. The clear yellowish liquid is lymph

with the oxidized toxins in it.

Glad your ear unblocked!

6) The ozone sauna is more intense that a big bag, because of the heat. The

body is pushed into the healing response. The rash varies from person to

person, and lasts from one week to 3 months. Once again, it depends on how

much there is to clean out and how often you do the saunas. To reduce the

healing crisis and itching:

- liver cleanses, every two weeks; at least 3 in total

- B-12 methylcobalamin sublingual daily, or as required to block itching

- protease enzymes; usually found bundled in with other enzymes

- ozonated olive oil on the skin: works for some

- colloidal silver: you can make your own

- emu oil: somewhat hard to get, and pricey

- Gardener's Dream Cream: I have it

- the new itch cream from ' friend: experimental

- calcium lactate

- lycopodium powder

- the homepathics Psorinoheel and Schuef from Heel

7) Inhaled ozone was proven non-carcinogenic by the EPA, of all

people, back in the 1980s. The scientist who did the work, Dr.

Wichey, presented his original papers at the Verona Ozone Congress

in March 1999.

8) For parasites of any kind, I would advise the Hana Kroeger/ Hulda

combo of black walnut hulls, cloves and wormwood. No parasite can live

through 30 days of that.

9) Some of the information you mention is covered in my books. The basic

dozen protocols apply to whatever condition is being treated, because the

cause is always the same -- buildup of toxins, and poor nutrition. Clean out

the body and feed it properly, and there isn't anything it can't heal.

Ozone is not a drug. I purposely do not list a whole host of diseases and

protocols for each one, because that would mean that I considered the

disease to be the focus, when the body is the focus. Do you understand?

Having said that, I am hoping that the archives of the ozonetherapy list on

yahoo will become what you seek, over the fullness of time. That is why I am

so persnickety about what gets on that list, rewriting at least half of what

comes in, for spelling, punctuation and clarity; and blocking a fair number

of posts, that I do not feel are appropriate. I also try and make sure that

the subject title accurately reflects what is in the body of the post. I

well know how frustrating it is to do an archive search and get a bunch of

posts that have no resemblance to the subject line.

10) Cupping is a method of concentrating the ozone on a specific area,

because ozone works by proximity. Cupping also protects the ozone from heat

in the sauna. It also involves the person with their own therapy, and gives

them something to do while they sit and sweat.

Any kitchen funnel made of plastic works ok. We have three different sizes

available, and have made custom ones by cutting down the small funnel. Glass

ones from a scientific supply would work fine, but are pricey, and break

when dropped. If ozone is leaking around the edge of the cup, a fan blowing

towards you will prevent you breathing too much and coughing.

In the sauna, if too much ozone is being inhaled, a fan will work well. For

more extreme cases, putting a mask on the person in the sauna, with an

independent air supply, will provide positive pressure in the mask, and

prevent ozone from entering. A small compressor can be purchased from

Walmart for about $15 to supply the air flow.

My job is answering questions. I never mind answering a sincere question.

The root of the word doctor is the same as the word doctrine, meaning to

teach. Doctors must first be teachers. That is why I wrote my books, and why

I give them away. A doctor who will not teach is not worthy of the name.

Subject: New ozonator questions

Date: Tue, 05 Feb 2002 04:39:03 -0000

I received my ozonator about 2 weeks ago.

Thanks Saul for a wonderful product – it certainly appears to be a

superbly built piece of equipment, as an engineer I really appreciate

that. And really simple to operate – 1on/off switch and 1 flow

adjustment dial – couldn't be easier. Unfortunately, you sealed it

completely as I would have loved to take a look inside. :) I

especially thank you for getting it to me so expeditiously just at

your time of sorrow. I hope everything is going better although I

know you will always feel the void.

Thanks also for mentioning the oxygen concentrator. I am certain if

you mention the minimal additional cost versus the convenience of

having oxygen on demand (rather than having to refill cylinders)

everyone would prefer to have one. I would have already wasted about

2 tanks of oxygen when I forgot the ozonator on while ozonating my

water for 45-60 minutesJ instead of 5 minutes. I appreciate your

concern about feeling that you are selling or pushing additional

sales but when it makes so much sense you should be proud to be so

helpful. :)

Now to my questions:

1) I have heard so many references about keeping the ozonator

away from the oxygen concentrator lest the ozone damage the parts of

the concentrator. How serious is this problem? How far away? Is

ozone heavier or lighter than air? I.e. Can we put the concentrator

above or below the ozonator? How long would it take to do

significant damage? What about other items in the room? Lamps?

Computers? Varnish? Windows? How does this relate to dental work?

Bridges? Dentures? Etc?

2) How many glasses (8 oz) of water per day is ideal? Max?

min? Can one ozonate water too long other than wasting energy and

ozone? Also, what do you mean by an empty stomach – how long after a

meal? Before?

3) Bagging – I have some pretty substantial plastic bags left

over from when our house was tented for termites – made

from " nylofume " (no doubt a trade name). Would they be OK for

bagging limbs?

4) Can the ozonator just be left on in a room to take care of

any potential mold problems? Again, does it rise or sink to the

floor? How long before damaging rubber in windows, etc? What rate

to set concentrator? How often? How large a space will it be

effective?

5) Ears – I have been doing my ears almost everyday for about 2

weeks and have a continuous discharge from them since about the third

day. Also some swelling and rash-like itchiness in and around the

ear canal. How long is this likely to continue? (No " until it stops "

answer please :) ) Most likely? Maximum? The good news is that the

blocked feeling that I have had in my right ear for about 5-10 years

has virtually disappeared!! Thanks. I have tried to treat with many

other methods all that time – Garlic oil, mullien oil H202, ear

drops, candling and pharmaceuticals (OTC only), you name it! Many

thanks! The cost of the machine has been worth it just for that!

Also, A problem I have had in my left cheek (started after having a

root canal done about 8 year and the dentist said they should go in

and clean it up but I haven't done it) seems to be much better

although it is a problem that varies a lot so I am not quite sure yet.

6) Sauna – Is the sauna essentially a big bagging operation?

Will it probably result in the same rash that bagging has caused on

my leg? - Not too serious but I would like some guidelines? Again

how long? How bad? Best ways to take care of rash? I am concerned

about walking around like a large festering bubble for too long? Just

kidding but any suggestions?

7) Flu – I had my sister-in-law breath ozone through olive oil

when she had flu the other day. She told another workmate who

responded " Isn't ozone carcinogenic? " I know it isn't but how does

one simply explain away this type of response? She didn't do another

breathing session but she was better about 2 days after the 1

session :)

8) Parasites/worms, etc. – my daughter (13 year old) often has

an itchy rectum at night (usually a sign of pinworms) would you

suggest using ozone? How – cupping/insufflation/Olive oil? Are

pinworms anaerobic or aerobic?

9) Is there a simpler way to find many of the answers to the

above type of questions than through the archives? Any file

summaries of case studies? Spreadsheet of protocols? Results? Max?

Mins? It would surely be appreciated? You gave a list of ailments

that respond to ozone – maybe a file for the types of protocols

(?)/suggestions/experiences others have used? The rashes?

Durations? Other complementary therapies that may be helpful?, etc.

etc. could be compiled that would be accessible to all and amendable

by you as experiences are reported? Your cancer testimonials, for

example were extremely interesting.

10) Cupping – the funnel you supply is fairly small, could I use

any kitchen type funnel. Any specs to watch for or avoid? Any other

things you have found to be successful for cupping? How does one

stop breathing in the ozone from the leaks around the funnel?

Sorry about the extent of the questions but using the ozonator really

brings many to mind. Thanks so much for the time you take to answer

our questions.

Best wishes,

Ken

A while back I spent some time going through the archives

for various ozone-related-mailing-lists.

I collected a bunch of emails that included therapy instructions

into one file. I've uploaded this file at:

You want to use a glass funnel, not a plastic funnel.

As a newer member to this list and wanting to learn more about ozone and such

therapies, I, too, greatly appreciate your making up this list Fred

Re: Re: New ozonator questions

Fred,

You are an absolute gem! Thankyou for doing this.

Dear Fred,

A plastic funnel is just fine. They do not degrade.

kengullan,

If the plastic bags in question were in your house when it was gassed

with serious " pestiferous " toxins, and you want to re-use them with

ozone to bag your body for health purposes.... if there is any

possibility of trace quantities of toxins, then the ozone is guaranteed

by the laws of pysics to react with them & most likely make toxic

by-products to poison you! -- put that way, do you want to breathe it?

With all due respect, I am not trying to embarrass you, but isn't it

obvious that nothing that has ever been tainted with toxins belongs in a

healing prescription with ozone? This has to do with the simple basics,

that if something will react, it will react with ozone. So, make sure it

wasn't poison to start.
