Dr Siff, Verkhoshansky, who pioneered plyometrics training, said that it is

necesary to have a

feet contact time of under 160 thousandths of a sec when the athlete performs a

drop jump.

My question is: what's happen if the athlete has a feet contact much longer than

160

(for example, 200)? Is it not plyometrics? Is it just a simple jump?

Bosco wrote the following table about time contact:

145 - 160 = excellent.

160 - 175 = good.

175 - 190 = regular.

>190= poor.
