His doctor was not too concerned either. He was not sick at the time I found the one lump. He had been sick a month or more before. It finally went away after about 4 months. I was freaking out too. The doctor gave her antibiotics and if they don't go away which they haven't gotten any smaller then they will do blood work. I am so worried. My poor baby she has so much to deal with already and i worry about how things are going to be for her. She has the scoliosis the eye problems and now this. Is there anything that could be there that they are missing that could relate all these things??? Please if anyone knows don't hold back let me know. Guest guest Posted December 29, 2007 Report Share Posted December 29, 2007 When I had the enlarged lymph nodes, I didn't think I had been sick, but the doc did think I had to have been sick and maybe didn't even realize it. I never had one get larger though. They did run blood work for me just to make sure everything was okay. What kind of eye problems has she had? Noelle (12-2-01) Ian (8-15-04) What could it mean???? Guest guest Posted December 29, 2007 Report Share Posted December 29, 2007 She has a rare type of lazy eye-- her vision is very very bad in her right eye vertically and horizontally-- her doctor said he has never seen a case like hers or one that is so bad and he's been a doc for 20 years+ it's nice to hear though that there is so many cases where things turned out okay. I found the first knot about 5 months ago. Then two more on each side of her neck appearred one month ago and now there is one behind each ear and after completing these antibiotics the one on the back of her head(which is the first one found) has gotten bigger. We go Thursday back to the doc. They're supposed to do the blood work then.
