Guest guest
The standard rule for traction application on the frame is 1/3 of the childs weight. This varies of course, depending on the childs presentation of scoliosis. Traction does indeed make a difference on overall correction, and this is one of the reasons why the appropriate frame is key. Hope this helps, HRH > Thank you so much. I didn't even think of Philly. Guest guest
Thanks , I am trying to figure out if we are getting the optimal correction or if we would benefit from following Dr. (who would be comfortable, after many years of casting, using more traction) Dr. ovich said he used " very slight traction, basically susupending him. " is flexible. Any thoughts? jill --- heather@... wrote: > The standard rule for traction application on the > frame is 1/3 of the > childs weight.
