Guest guest Posted December 28, 2007 Report Share Posted December 28, 2007 I wanted to inform you all that Olivias VEPTR dual-hybrid rods have detached, and we are headed to SLC for urgent surgery on Monday. As far as I can tell, her ribs are not broken. She is not in pain, so I believe that the attachments at the top have come undone....They are both protruding about 2 inches at the top of her back...very obvious and I am praying that they dont bust through the skin. Dont know for sure, yet......(?) Please pray that my girl doesnt develop an infection. Thats my main concern at this point. We have no idea what surgery will entail, until D'Astous sees her. I will be out of the loop for a while. Not sure how long we will be in SLC. If you need anything, please contact Shellie at shelliegrant@..., and she will get in touch with me or my office. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. Sorry, I havent responded to any e-mails. I am certainly ~not~ a pillar of stregth at this time. LOL!
