seent diffuser question

I'm using 50/50 FO and IPM in a small decorative vase. Two problems:

1. I'm nott getting much scent diffused! How many reeds should I be

using? Does the type of container make a difference?

2. I'm having trouble coloring the FO. The liquid colorants I use for

soap making I guess are water soluable because the just drop in little

balls in the bottom of the solution instead of coloring it. What type

of colorant should I be using that will dissolve in the FO solution?
