Greetings:

I tried Elavil for tremors but it didn't work too well for me

personally; I felt sort of spacey but my tremors continued. Instead, my doctor

gave me Propranol and I find it works much better. I can use the Propranolol

only as needed (don't need a blood level) and thus I only take it once or twice

a week. The only problem with Propranolol for me is that it can cause

extremities to get cold as it affects circulation; since my feet are already ice

cold much of the time, I try to take it only when I feel my tremors are really

bad. My hand tremors vary a lot from day to day. I also found at first that

taking Propranolol just once can cut out my tremors for a few weeks; this isn't

always true anymore.

Hope this helps :)

Marti
