Guest guest
Any advice for a 60 year old runner who has worn down his knee cartilage? His concern over surgery is the risk of losing what he can now do, which is long biking and hiking without pain. MRI shows meniscus still intact, but repeated attempts to run a bit every few months or so, result in pain for up to a week. He's ok with his new lifestyle, even lifting more in the gym, but really misses running. He also thinks he'd be laughed out of a surgeons office due to his age. He is extremely fit.
