Guest guest
I have heard great things about a Dr. named Kit Song in Seattle I think. He doesn't do Early Treatment, but it might be worth sharing with him, especially with your son in a cast, he might be interested. I know he halo-ed a child of an acquaintance of mine. Guest guest
Hi Shellie, Thank you for letting me know. I think I will definitely want someone that does early treatment though. I will like to avoid surgery as much as possible. We have been dealing with this for only a month, so I'm pretty inexperience with infantile scoliosis. My husband is military and we're currently stationed in Okinawa, Japan. The problem is that we can only go to a few places and we're trying to find a great doctor near these places. In case you can shine some light in my direction the places are: North Carolina, WA state, Colorado, and TN. I'm desperately trying to find someone near, but will drive if I need to. I will do anything for my little baby! Thank you again and I wish you and your family have a happy and healthy New Year:) Shellie Grant wrote: I have heard great things about a Dr. named Kit Song in Seattle I think. Guest guest
Hi e, I think someone mentioned Dr. Stakelis (I can't spell his name right!) in either North or South Carolina. IN Colorado is Dr. Mark kson at the Children's Hospital in Denver. He has not attended an ETP, but Dr. Mehta has given him one on one help with his patients at TCH when she has been in Denver. I believe he has the proper frame and is seeing patients. I think Devyn sees him? Rochelle can answer if I am correct on that. He's the only one I know of in Co. I am not aware of anyone in Tennessee. Are you guys moving from Japan soon? I will let you know if I find anything else out. Shellie e wrote: Hi Shellie, Thank you for letting me know. Guest guest
I know Ms. Mehta and went to a hospital around Nashville, TN last summer when Pam s and family did the fundraiser. Not sure if that doc is doing ET or not? Shellie Grant wrote: Hi e, I think someone mentioned Dr. Stakelis (I can't spell his name right!) in either North or South Carolina. Guest guest
e We live in Colorado and go to Denver Childrens Hospital. My son see's Dr Mark kson and his PA Ballard. They are wonderful and have the proper frame for Mehta casting and have been rained by Dr. Mehta. I would strongly recommend them. They are wonderful. Devyn was in a cast for 6 months and is now in a brace. He started at over 40degrees and is down to 10degrees and holding with a brace. Have any questions feel free to ask.
