CMT EMG testing on 1/2 the body

Does anyone know if a CMT EMG can get a good diagnosis with only a half body

reading? I understand the need to test arms and legs (for checking for other

neuropathies) but the right side only test my sister just got through MDA seems

odd to me - her too. I told her I would ask here to see what you all thought.

Anyway, it is pretty clear to me this is in the family and she just needed the

diagnosis without paying in order to get her orthotics covered for her gym

shoes.
