Thanks for the replies on this.

I will ask if Dr Khoury wants to do something like this, especially if Todd

continues to grow so rapidly. We have an excellent ped orthopedic surgeon here

in Atlanta who might be able to help with this sort of thing. He is, in fact,

interested in doing Mehta casting and was scheduled to observe Todd's second

casting in February! But now that the schedule has changed, I am not too sure

he'll be there for this one... I'm hoping we can help him get trained! What a

great thing that would be.

Todd is doing well, thank you for asking!--better than he probably should be

since this cast is too short on his hips now, and he's able to bend a lot more

and climb, etc.! I'm a little anxious about this cast removal coming up the day

after Christmas, since Todd was completely panicked when they had to trim a part

of this cast due to a sore. I'm sure you know what I mean on that.

Good luck with Max's last cast. I am hoping for a miracle for you guys.

Sturm to see what the curve is inisde the cast. I have been unable

to get in touch with Cree for the past week after multiple

phone calls. I don't know the address of where I am supposed to send

the x-rays to and also I want to go ahead and get Dylan on the

schedule for his next cast. Dr. Sturm indicated before he would want

to do it about 2 months after the first cast. I called the new

scheduling lady last week and she said she didn't have any info on

him, so to call and have her get him in the queue for

scheduling. Anybody have any advice on how to get someone up there

to call me back? Also, when do you guys usually schedule your next

cast...do they usually wait until the clinical follow up for the

current cast?
