Guest guest
Red Devil Lye is no longer being made. I understand Lowes has a brand, but don't know off hand what it is. Guest guest
That's everywhere! Bummer. I used to get it at our local grocery store now I too will need to look for a supplier. Kathy Kalleker Nolan -- Getting lye Has anybody had trouble getting lye? I teach soapmaking but haven't been making soap for a long time myself. I just got a call from one of my students that has been having trouble getting lye. They called Red Devil and was told that they were no longer making the crystals because of all the meth labs around. Is it just our area or is it all over? Thanks,

Some of the stores like Home Depot & Lowes, depending on the area do have brands of lye that are 100% pure lye.
