Hi Donna,

Very interesting prespective from your father in law on the use of

technology in medicine. I have often suspected patients get tested and

re-tested so much here because the docs are all afraid of lawsuits, and

thus no one really wants to offer a definitive diagnosis. Either that,

or perhaps their egos will not allow them to admit " I don't know " , so

the patient is tested and re-tested until something comes up. Or, in my

case, until the patient is so fed up that she never returns and seeks

answers on her own, or just forgets about getting answers until one day

in the future an answer might be revealed in a most uncommon way.
