Not being an English native speaker I may commit somme errors - do excuse me! CMT appeared in my life some 4 years ago. Suddenly I was not able to run any more, then climbing stairs became diffucult, hands started to pose problems. I seem to have a rare form: CMT5 with a pyramidal syndrom. Not only my limbs are affected (though hands are fairly OK now) but also my bladder (neurological or hypersensitive one), my eyes (weak optical nerves, some changes in retina), my brain (modifications in white substance). Doctors think my CMT may be coupled with some metabolic disease (I'll soon have the results of blood & other tests).
