Carmel 504 info

Hi Carmell,

I am having issues with Olivias school regarding the development of the

504. I requested it over a month ago, and it is still not in place. I

dont think it should be taking this long, and was wondering how lengthy

the process is for Braydon. A 504 has been completed for Liv every year

since Kindergarden in her last school, and if I recall correctly, it wasnt

that difficult. Basically, there was a meeting between the Principal, the

designated 504 Coordinator, her teachers, P.E. teacher, school Nurse, and

any teacher that would come in contact with Liv throughout the day. It

was basically a safety plan to ensure that all professionals were on the

same page with Livs care.

Ugh! I am getting very frustrated with this process. It shouldnt be so

hard to get everyone together to ensure Live safety.

Any advice?
