Guest guest
Hi , I am so happy for you and Todd. I hope this is exactly what he needs! We always seem to be surprised by how low the cast comes also. This cast now comes right to the tip of her little booty crack . We asked Dr. Khoury to trim it there and he said it was important to have it that low to control her movement. Best of luck to you and Todd. How is he adjusting? Keep us posted! His Cobb angle went from 50 out of cast to 20 in cast! I could hardly believe the film I was looking at was of the same spine. We are quite shell shocked at the moment, having had zero sleep (Todd felt like partying all night long in the hotel room) and then having to be at the hospital most of the day. They also did an MRI today, no results yet, so it took quite a bit longer. The cast is a bit longer than we'd expected, and we are all still working out logistics, etc. Thanks again for all the encouragement and advice. We are feeling pretty optimistic now, and are still hoping and praying this will be just what our little guy needs. , Mommy to Todd __________________________________________________

Guest guest
Great news! Dr. Khoury applied 's first cast back in Feb and she went from 43 degrees to 17 degrees. She is now in her fourth cast and holding at 10 degrees. Like you, we continue to hope and pray that she continues to improve and it holds. Don't know where we would be without ISOP, and all the doctors!
