Well, I'll jump in here & tell you our story. I'm sure you know we have a

sp. needs dd, Kiayah, age 5. She is a Dandy Varient, meaning her

cerebellum is underdeveloped & has ataxia, hypotonia & dev. delays.

As a family, we have always done natural, family-empowered health.

Meaning we are responsible for our own health & we consult/practice

natural drs/therapies only. I studied pre-natal health.I have had all

home births: 2 singles & 1 twin= 4 births.

When pregnant (though it was only week 1 & I didn't know I was pg) w/ my

last child, Kaiyah, I had an abcess & took mega echinachia for it & then

went to the denist & had it pulled. They didn't sheild me form the exrays

& gave me the max dose of anesthetics allowed by law b4 sending you to an

oral surgeon. I was so sick after wards & my kidneys were shot trying to

filter the abcess, clean the blood not to mention all the junk from the

dentist. After I foudn out I was pg, I was frantic about the baby. Well,

needless to say, at least she is healthy even if sp. needs.

But she was tested for metals at 8-9 mos & the amounts of lead, caduim,

murcery & antimony were off the charts for even a sick adult. Sooooo

scary. I sjtu knew it was going to be in her brain. So the rest of the

family was tested but, all came back negative so we know it wasn't

enviromental. I had gotten pg in Mo & moved to IL-lots of enviro

there-YUCK. I had also done a liver cleanse after her birth so that is

why I showed neg too. So we started giving her a homeopathic called

Detoxisode for Metals & the hair analysis shows minute cleansing. Then I

saw a video called Bio-Energetic Testing by Rueben DeHann ( he was

associated w/ Nature's Sunshine for awhile but he is a chiro) & he showed

the kinesiology point for metals in the L cheek & then how to scan the

body to see where the metals were lodged. So I took the info to my chiro

& we tried it. We had nothing to loose. It showed the metals in her

spleen & it was no wonder she could not sit up yet ( at 15 mos) b/c the

spleen nerves support the whole back. We gave her a spleen glandular (I'm

not sure what brand-like Standard Process Labs) & in 1 mos she was

sitting up & to date she only has antimony left.

I am so grateful for the GREAT chiro in Il who helped us for 3 1/2 yrs.

She had acupuncture & Reiki too.

Looking back, I am amazed at how we did it, but I am sure it was God,

not us. It seems too easy. But Kaiyah is living proof. She goes to a

Natural chiro clinic here in L'ville, that treats sp needs kids-esp

autistic & they are all mercury toxic. She has been going there almost a

yr. I don't think they realize the road we've been down b/c K seems so

healthy & adaptive--but we just read the map earlier in her life & have

not gone the long way around.

I read all your posts of mercury toxicity & my heart goes out to you.

Please try this. I know this is unconventional but I don't think you have

anything to loose either.

Hi Jolene,

Just one comment here: MANY people who ARE mercury toxic have

normal levels of mercury on hair tests. This is because

mercury is really well stored by some body tissues (e.g. brain).

I'm told it shows up on tests mostly for people with current/

recent exposure. So, I would not conclude as to whether the

rest of the family is " safe " on this score.
