Guest guest
I don't know if it is a CMT thing or not, but about a year & a half ago my two biggest toes on foot went " numb " to the point where it feels i am wearing a toe ring about 6 sizes too small. The pressure is tremendous & the pain varies hour to hour. I get what I call electrical surges in them that last for just a couple seconds that seems to trickle or filter away out thru the toes. I have been struggling for 4 years with a bad back - herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, and radiculopathy, as well as a positive emg for CMT. My pain mgmt doc has been trying to & is trying to " fix the pinched nerve that he thinks is causing the foot problem. I go in this Friday for a selective nerve root block on S1 level. So who really knows if mine is CMT related or pinched nerve related. I am interested in reading others' thoughts as well. Hang in there. Guest guest
I believe that there hasn't been enough time for the healing process and the feeling will come back. My toes are sooo sensitive. Donna B.
