Hi ...

I'm so sorry to hear about Adam's accident, relieved it wasn't worse but was

chilled to hear that you're worried he has low self-esteem...At that so tricky

age and stage he's entering don't all pre-teens-teens really worry about their

looks? I can also sort of imagine that he would feel that the last thing he

needs is something else to be the subject of teasing for. Totally

understandable. Maybe it's not his self-esteem but the place he is right now.

He sounds like such a great kid with lots to be proud of...hopefully getting

those teeth fixed will make him happy to beam.

Things really change through their lives with kids it seem...Gav has two little

girlfriends that knocked teeth out, either one or both of their front teeth and

neither worried about it all...the self-consciousness seems to come later.

I know what you mean about things that can be fixed...CMT really changes your

perspective on things to worry about with kids.

Cheers

Sally

Hi Sally,

I really like what you said right here. I hope this is the case and it is

not his true self esteem that is hurting. Middle school is so hard.
