Guest guest
Key here is stress in conjuction with a progressive neurological disorder than affects the nerves that feeds the muscles in the lower extremity muscles in your feet and hands which will die off first that may, may not, or will move up toward the trunk of the body. Progression is either arrested at which point diagnosed at that place in time and may never worsen, you may have slow steady progression over years, or fast progression depending on your CMT Type. It is an unknown. So many variations, varieties, the medical profession is baffled and confused as well, even the testing is inconclusive. IMHO, it will be a costly fight for you against big Corporate America. Proof for a short to long term disability insurance claim with an employer may be a different story, one that would definitely be to your benefit, but will come after so many years of employment, etc., depending on their policy.
