Guest guest
- I think you have to look at the whole health picture of one that has CMT. You say a big lawsuit. You must have a lot of money to fight Corporate officials and their slew of attorneys. IMHO, I just feel like you are going to spend a lot of money and the constant emotional stress you're under with the suit itself, etc. will be brought into it as well. I just see dollars going into the legal pockets and out of yours. Discrimination of any kind (age or disability) is hard to prove. I don't know all of your details (can't say really one way or the other) but I know from experience it's best to let the big dogs lay and go on with your life. Every disabled person that has disability of any sort has stress, stress brought on by the disability. Stress is hard to prove as everyone has it even the so-called " normal " people. Progression is part of CMT and most other debilitating disorders (either slow or fast depending on your type). It's hard to accept. Are you talking about short to long term disability insurance claim with an employer? Workmen's Compensation? Those two avenues of insurance benefits are different arenas. If being involved in a lawsuit means paying to have representation to fight big Corporate America, I hope you have investigated other case histories and outcomes pertaining to emotional stress.
