Guest guest Posted April 4, 2006 Report Share Posted April 4, 2006 Hello everyone, Just wanted to let you know that my disability was approved over the weekend! Hooray!! Now they say I need to quit, while I need to scale back to 2-3 days a week, but we shall see. -Can't quite pay the bills on the %60 of my pay that I'll be getting. I'm just so relieved. I got disability through the California State Teachers Retirement System, which I have been paying into for 9 years. Essentially, I am retiring at 33 years old, which would be a nice idea if it weren't caused by health issues . I know I'll feel a lot better once I'm not working so much.
