Guest guest
Gretchen, My three year old daughter will be going back to ish Rite Hospital in Dallas again for further studies. Her full CMT panel (blood work) came back negative from Athena. They want to do an MRI on her upper spine and possible an CT scan or MRI on her brain. She has all the CMT symtoms. (High arches, a slight foot drop and her left leg is worse than the other. She tends to walk on the outer edge of her left foot so it looks like a club foot.) They may also perform an nerve conductivity exam. Since you've had a nerve biopsy they were able to determine that you had CMT and what type? What other neurological disorders can it determine? In your opinion is the nerve conductivity exam really necessary or should a biopsy be done first to determine a disorder before they perform a conductivity test? Thank you, REBECA
