Guest guest
, I wish I could help. It is perfectly normal to worry. Hopefully they can get you guys in sooner. Let us know what you find out. I'll say a prayer that everything is fine. Take care, Tasha Claflin wrote: Hopefully I am just being a worry wart. Anyway, It looks to me like Ian is starting to develop a rib hump on the left side. He was over corrected in this brace to the left side by 6 degrees (he's previously always been a right thoracic curve). He hasn't had a rib hump in a long time and I wonder if he is getting worse in his brace??? Aack. We were scheduled to go up to Erie on the 7th of Sept. for a brace check. I just called Jane and asked her if we could do the films here and send them to Dr. rather than traveling all that distance for a simple x-ray. If he says yes, I may opt to get him in before the 7th because I am a bit worried. Anyone have a rib hump develop on the opposite side? Should I be worried? Guest guest
, I would be shocked if the curve changed direction. And I believe the only way to develop a rib hump on the other side would be to change directions. BUT, I think your should definitely follow your motherly instincts. Do you ever have him bend over so you can see the spine better. Try it, and see if you notice anything from that. I'm anxious to know how things turn out. Hopefully you are just being overly worried, but I'd rather be overly worried and safe than sorry. Good luck. /Cole Claflin wrote: Hopefully I am just being a worry wart. Guest guest
Yeah, it would be weird to go the other way, but since he is over corrected to the left, I am worried!
