Guest guest
Has any one in the group including Dr. Siff read the two new articles entitled autoregulatory training part 1 and 2 on www.elitefitnesssystems.com or www.elitefts.com (same site i believe). Reading these articles brings up an interesting point about finding a person's specific volumetric parameters during a given training session. I do believe that there has to be an optimal amount of sets, reps, and such pertaining to volume. As well as an exact science leading to recovery and supercompensation including proper scheduling of training days aiding the listed measures. Just going by " feel " just can't cut it when dealing with the complexity of the nuero-energetical processes. Wouldn't you all think that this or anytype of careful planning would lead to consistent gains every traininig session(i.e. increases in repetition maximums and work capacity)? The author even goes into what he calls " drop off percentages " pertaining to types of methods submax and repition method. also the percentages relate to repitition brackets as well. Careful consideration of this percentage even sets up fatigue, recovery, and supercompensation. Just throwing this out there. as anyone took part in this type of training before or anything similiar. Exact science or theory? Waiting for reply Diamond CSCS Mesa, Arizona
