Guest guest
Dear ers, A wierd thing has happened. Went to my Internist today for my bi-yearly check-up. Nothing new there, but we talked more about CMT and I gave him the new booklet, showing the toxic meds list, etc. So he wants to check my reflexes. Arm reflexes are fine. Always have been. I have had my leg reflexes checked a million times by a million docs in my CMT life, and no one has ever got a leg reflex. Fine. So today, of all wierd things, my doc gets a very strong left leg reflex - I watched my leg jerk way up and out.I was stunned. My right leg also gave a reflex, not as strong, but my leg moved out as well. The last doc to check my reflexes was in 2001, a neurologist, who did not get any reflex out of me. Really wierd. I don't know why all of a sudden I am now showing leg reflexes. Has anyone else with a childhood CMT diagnosis experienced a " return of reflexes " in mid-life? ~ Gretchen
