Great going, ! I really don't enjoy using ice either, but when we had our snowmaggedon this past winter it did help a lot to ice my back after shoveling. I think the icing is what kept my flare ups down to a dull roar!Donna

This morning I got up and did Body Balance 29, this is Les Mills' version of yoga. My legs are quite sore between running and the other workouts I've done this week so today I'm walking the bridges instead of running and hope to do some restorative yoga after work, so this is an active rest day. Body Balance, though enjoyable, didn't really cut it this time. Last night while watching tv I actually iced my knee (I'm not so good about icing) and my knee feels a LOT better this morning! I will for sure ice it again tonite! There is only one instructor in Body Balance 29, and she's good! The music is also good, the music was Sting like. The sections are:1) t'ai chi warmup2) sun salutations - there weren't enough of these to really get my body warm3) standing strength4) balancing poses5) hip openers - not enough of these6) core - pilates moves, this was a really good section! 7)

back and pilates leg exercises8) spinal twists9) supine and seated stretches - again these were nice but not enough or held truly long enough10) meditation11) continuing shavasana and closeThis routine is good, but I would have gotten more out of it had I done some light aerobics first to warm up and get the full benefit of the poses.Despite the carb indulgences yesterday the scale stayed the same, so I will try to eat more mindfully today. I packed my lunch and have lots of yummy, healthy eats so hopefully I won't be tempted by treats in the break room!Namaste,
