Hi, everyone I'm back from Chicago! My brag for the week (actually

probably for the whole year, LOL) is that I survived the drive (to

and from Washington, D.C.) without making my back worse! We're

talking a total of 36 hours of driving in an uncomfortable picjup

truck! Woohoo, for me! This means I am back on track.

My back spasm is still there, but my doctor has me on a great new

medicine. Best of all, she has gotten me to relax about taking

medicing. Before, I was always trying to cut down the medicine for

fear of addiction; as a result, I was often in pain. Now, I am not

in pain and I don't have the stress of trying to figure out the

medicine. By the way I did the nordic track today for 40 min.! In

Chicago (in the rural suburbs), I walked so much that actually go

shin splints!

Welcome all the newcomers to egroups! You will love it here. Just

keep posting for the maximum amount of support and motivation.

I have one favor of you all: my husband is looking for an easy-to-

follow (not to many fancy ingredients and steps) VEGATERIAN

COOKBOOK. He also is looking for a good VEGETARIAN FROZEN BURGER

type food. If you have any recommendations, can you email them to me

at: e.t.carroll@....

Thanks!

Elena
