Guest guest
Hi Donna, I read everything you wrote and thank you so much for everything you said. My doctor is writing a prescription for the AFO or AFOs and then I will make the appointment with the orthotist. She had asked me if I needed one or both. I told her I think only one to help with my left foot drop. That is what makes me trip all the time. I really try and stay active with the treadmill, Sansone tapes and I just have to tell myself I don't walk as fast as other people and it is hard for me to stop instantly to chat with someone when I am walking cause there goes my balance. I might only need the in shoe orthotics not the AFO, anything to help with my walk. I was leaving the post office the other day and there is a little old lady in line watching me walk out. I wanted so bad to say to her like my walk? There are always those people that must single you out like that. ugh... But if you really watch other people there really is alot of unusual walks out there. Well I would like to keep you posted Donna on what goes on with the orthotist... This is the first time I will ever have seen one, soooooooo I sure hope he or she knows there stuff. LOL Thanks again... Elaine
