On the 11th I had my second biopsy in the last year one year a part. The first one showed significant cirrohsis and damage of a moderate or somewhat higher range. My AST and ALT enzymes were 600 and 1000 respectively. My viral load was 5 millon. 3 weeks before my second BX my AST and ALT were 475 and 750 not really much difference. My Viral Load had jumped to 20,000,000. I contacted HEP C in 1971 and it reshowed it self in 2005. That means that at the end of one year my numbers and damage were significant. During the year between BX number 1 and BX number 2 I went to see a Alternate treament Medical Doctor from Vietnam he prescribed a list of erbs and other

capsules that he said migh help control my Enzymes. On the 11th I had my second BX .On the 18th I received the results. My AST and ALT were 345 and 460 my Viral load was 24,000,000 my BX showed unbelieably no change in the level of my cirrohsis in fact it showed a very slight pull back.To me this is a Miracle.I never expected it, for sure I thought I would be much worse. Not only that but the needle used was 14 times larger than the first BX so the sample was much larger.meaning the quality of the BX was much better.

There is only one possible explanation for this result in one year only.In that year among other things I have been taking about 3000mg per day of Milk Thisle. It is my belief now that Milk Thisle as much as anything has turned my future around. Now when I start TX in November I know my life expectancy will be much stronger than before. it is further significant that many scary test numbers may not tell the whole picture of what is going on in my liver for besides the enzymes and the Viral Load my rubin is normal. I just may if I can get thru the first couple of months of TX to continue it for 2 full years in an effort to knock the dragon out cold..I want to thank the members of this group especially Suzie and Den for all their understanding and support I could not have got this far without you.I now look forward to beating the dragon to death!

Regards

Segal
