Dennis,

My oldest sister had the most extreme case of CMT possibly known to man and it

devistated her at a very early age. She experienced major breathing problems

due to a deteriated phrenic nerve and was on a respirator for over 10 yrs. Very

unusal case...but definitely a direct effect from SEVERE CMT. Thankfully most

CMT folks do not suffer from this.
