Guest guest
White tea is real tea just like black, green, etc. If you have it try it and let us know how your brew comes out?  Curing my bronchitis by sipping KT. Whoo Hoo!  ann ________________________________ To: original_kombucha Sent: Thursday, December 29, 2011 6:43 AM Subject: White Tea used for KT?  I can't remember if I saw recently a thread about using white tea as the brew mix in KT....does it possess the same benefecial properties as black and/or green tea, and if so, does it have a smoother or sharper flavor than the others? Guest guest
Hi Chuck, White tea is very beneficial in terms of health properties. It has a mild flavor and is delicious. However, it usually costs more so I save my white tea for drinking plain rather than in KT. I have used it in KT but if you blend it with other teas you can't really taste the white tea. Give it a try making a batch with just white tea and see what you think. It is good for you. BTW everyone try to get Certified Organic tea for drinking and for your KT is you can do so. It is healthier for you and for the people who plant, pick and process the tea before it gets to you. Better for the earth as well.
