i wouldn't trust any plastic product. it's all made from petroleum and

since when have the petroleum companies proven trustworthy. i believe any

plastic to leech. i would also think about what someone said about how if

their brew goes too long it starts to taste like plastic. that to me is a

good sign that something is going on between the KT and your plastic brew

container, something questionable that is. i brew in a large glass

container w spigot (5gal), $120 but no worry about whether there will be

anything leeching into my magic brew that i drink for health purposes.

Has anyone ever used a ceramic container such as the pic below? It is a

water bottle holder,so I am not sure if it would work because I have no

idea how deep it goes? But, I have found them on a website and amazon for

maybe 20-30 dollars. I am going to go to a couple stores later to see if I

can find one...will keep you posted.
