Hi Barbara,

Sometimes CMT can effect the face muscles. My doctor had copied information

about CMT for me out of a medical book. One picture was of a child with the CMT

face muscles effected. The little boys eyes were droopy and his eye muscles

wouldn't allow his eyes to close all the way. Seeing the pictures scared me too.

Thinking back it was not all that bad. I think this is very rare. That could be

one reason or maybe it;s just something the doctor does as routine with a

neurological condition. No need to worry :)
